WOL3D has raised INR 80 lakhs from shark tank season 2. Aman invested in this startup. The pitcher made an ask for 1.5 crores for 1% equity in the company.

Aman offered 80 lakhs rupees for 2% equity and 70 lakhs debt. Pitcher’s counter offer was 80 lakhs for 1.5% equity and 70 lakhs debt. And then, the deal was finalized with Aman for 80 lakhs in exchange for 2% equity and 70 lakhs debt.

The company’s founders are Rahul Chandalia, Shaloni Chandalia, Pradeep Jain, and Swati Jain. They come from Mumbai. They got this idea from an exhibition with commercial printers, so why not make small 3D printers that can benefit common people?

WOL3D is one of India’s largest online 3D printing brands. They have launched reliable and affordable 3D printers, 3D filament, 3D prototype services, 3D magical pens and 3D printers. They have already supplied more than 25000 3D printers. 4000 were provided to schools only. They also have 10 WOL3D printed experience centres. They have a website for their business and are also available on marketplaces and experience centres. They are an ecosystem of 3D printing. One of the necessary products they make is filaments of their own. They are working with Ola cabs, Samsung etc.

WOL3D Business Statistics:

The cost of 3D printers ranges from 14000-3 lakhs rupees. A pen costs 850 rupees, and the filament is 1000 per kg. In the year 2021-2022, the sales were 19.6 crores. Their revenue is 65% from Printers, 17% from 3D Filament, 13% from prototyping services and 5% from 3D pens. This year their projected sales were 28 crores-30 cr. The gross margin is 30-40%. Profit after tax is 5-6%. Their 6000 units are sold to customers and schools. And to corporate prototype manufacturing, they have sold 3800 units and 9800 printers sales.
