We are pleased to inform you that Amity School of Engineering and Technology, New Delhi is organizing its techno-cultural festival “AMITECH’17’’ on 31 March and 1 April 2017. This year AMITECH is going to be a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious celebration. It provides a great platform to youth to flaunt their potential talents. It brings together the creativity, intellect, and wackiness of the youth. Students from all other colleges are warmly invited to participate in various programs like solo dance, a battle of bands, fashion show and much more.


This year AMITECH’17 is going to be grand and zestful. So it is bringing an event to you people i.e. POETRY COMPETITION. Poetry is a form of literature that has pattern and rhythm and rhyme. It can go from serious to fun or vice versa. Poetry consists of stanzas, which decides what type of poem is written.

The competition is bilingual poetry competition, i.e. the language to be used can either be Hindi or English.

  • Participants will be given a set five random of words which they will have to use in their poem.
  • Participants will be given time duration of thirty minutes to complete their respective poems.
  • Winner will be awarded the prize money and certificate of merit.

However, Registrations for this Poetry Competition has to be done until 29th of March 2017.
