AAM Aadmi Party Government is in the dock after a CAG – Comptroller and Auditor General report revealed that the Delhi government, in its first year, spent Rs 29 crore in releasing advertisements outside Delhi.
The CAG report said the arrival of advertisement was not the duty of the Arvind Kejriwal Government.
Additionally, notices worth Rs 24 crore discharged by it were infringing upon money related legitimacy and Supreme Court directions, expressed report tabled in the Delhi Assembly today.
The review found that in a few occurrences, work of the government was anticipated as the AAP’s achievements using its logo “broom” and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Name & Image on advertisements.
“More than 85% for expenditure of Rs 33.40 crore brought about in one particular attention crusade related to advertisements released outside Delhi which was beyond the responsibilities of the Delhi government,” it said.
