The Social Unity | WEXT India Ventures
Sometimes, real stories under The Social Unity remind us that kindness and togetherness are stronger than anything else. One such heart-touching moment happened recently in Crossing Republik, Ghaziabad.
At around 2 AM, on the road from Crossing Republik to Shahberi, a small fruit seller’s shop — run by a hardworking Hindu man — was set on fire. It was not an accident. Someone did it on purpose.
The poor seller lost goods worth more than ₹50,000 overnight.
A Story of The Social Unity in Action
But what happened next is what makes this story truly special — a real example of The Social Unity in township – Crossing Republik.
By morning, people from Crossing Republik came together. Some residents, including Mr. Shivam Gahlot, a resident of Assotech Nest, Crossing Republik, Ghaziabad, visited the spot, spoke to the police, and helped them catch one of the people involved in the crime.
They didn’t stop there. The community stood beside the fruit seller like a family. They started collecting funds from society/township groups — and by 3 PM the same day, the entire loss was covered!
More than ₹50,000 (via UPI and Cash) was raised through crowdfunding in just a few hours.
This was not just about money. It was about standing up for what is right, about supporting one of their own, and about showing that humanity still wins.
In times when negative news is everywhere, this small act of love and The Social Unity from Crossing Republik gives all of us hope. It proves that when good people come together, no hate can win.
