A Dream That Started in Gurugram
Ranjeet Kumar came up with the idea for what would become Salescode AI in 2014, long before AI became a common commercial tool in India. Kumar’s early interest in AI came from seeing how inefficient retail operations were, especially small grocery stores. These days, many entrepreneurs are interested in AI because it’s popular. Starting Salescode AI
Kumar, who had a background in technology and an entrepreneurial spirit, started to play around with machine learning and natural language technologies. The first versions were mostly about automating simple sales and inventory tasks. As AI technology grew throughout the world, Kumar’s ambition grew as well. He wanted to develop an AI agent that could handle a wider range of grocery-related tasks, such as dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and automating conversations with customers.
Kumar wanted to make Salescode AI act like a person who helps grocery shop owners and managers by making it an agent instead of a regular software platform. With this method, SCAI was able to go beyond static dashboards and become an active partner in making daily business choices.
Scaling with a Goal
Accessibility is the key to SCAI’s growth strategy. Salescode AI is different from other systems that only work for big organisations since it works for businesses of all sizes, from small local kiranas to regional grocery chains.
