Nearly all developers (95%) are using AI weekly, weaving its capabilities into coding, testing, and problem-solving to boost productivity while still carefully overseeing quality.

Developers mainly turn their steps to AI for speed and automation, with 80% as key reasons. On average, engineers save four to six hours weekly by using AI to handle repetitive tasks. However, they approach AI pragmatically, by relying on it as a helpful assistant rather than a full substitute for human skill.

A remarkable 87% of developers have adjusted their learning paths or career goals to embrace AI’s potential. This self-motivated growth shows how developers in the region are proactively keeping pace with rapid technological change, often faster than formal training programs can provide.
Quality and Trust Remain Priorities
While AI is widely used for generating code, developers are very attentive when it comes to fully trusting AI outputs. Most still review and correct AI-generated code before integrating it, that balances efficiency with quality assurance.
